I take you on a climb of Mt. Borah, Idaho’s tallest peak. The summit is at 12,662 ft / 3,859m. This is one of the toughest high points in the United States. There are only a few tougher ones.
The hike and climb take 12+ hours to complete from car to summit to car. Chicken Out Ridge is famous for scaring climbers and making them turn back:

Apparently, if you are fast, you can round trip this mountain in 5 hours. That’s a pretty impressive stat considering you gain 5,212 ft (1,588m) on the climb. It took me 12 hours round trip of hiking & climbing. It took an additional 2 hours to film. I also lost my tripod during the filming. 🙁
