Grand Teton National Park is the epitome of purple mountain majesties from the song America the Beautiful. Rising over 7,000 feet from the valley floor, the cathedral group has no foothills from the Jackson and Wyoming side of the mountain range. This range is part of the Rocky Mountains. Both a family-friendly and hard-core adventure park, Grand Teton is truly an experience to behold. When people fly into the valley into the only commercial airport in the National Park system, so often they look out the airplane window and say “holy bleeping bleep” because the plane feels like it’s flying into the mountains. There is nothing else like it.
