Take time to put screws in your shoes for better traction in the future
Are you willing to bet on yourself? When you look at your future, think about what you’re willing to give up right now for benefit down the line. You have to make sacrifices now knowing that it will pay off later. In order to pursue a great opportunity, you will have to invest time and effort to learn a new skill and grow yourself.
Giving up instant gratification for greater gains later is difficult to do. We all want to have our thing now. If you instead decide to take a temporary pay cut to earn that training certificate you need, it will pay off in the long run. It cost me half a decade to earn my bachelors degree in electrical engineering. Once earned, it can never be taken away. Pay your future self by putting the effort into learning and growing today. Be courageous and believe you’ll win when you bet on yourself.
