Just because the 24 hour hike was called the Death March doesn’t mean it was bad. In fact, it was quite beautiful. Being able to cover 45 miles in 24 hours meant I was able to see and appreciate a literal mountain of sights in just a single day. The Teton Crest Trail was rife with wildflowers late in the season. They made all the effort worth it.
